Cam Jordan Fumble Recovery Leads To Saints Field Goal | Week 5
USA TODAY Sports

A successful field goal attempt by rookie kicker Blake Grupe followed a second defensive takeaway by the Saints against the Patriots. Cam Jordan pounced on a botched handoff by New England quarterback Mac Jones on the Pats opening drive of the second half. It was the 11th fumble recovery for New Orleans' eight-time Pro Bowl defensive end.

Derek Carr and the Saints could not move the football further downfield. However, Grupe booted a 54-yard field goal with 11:34 in the third quarter. New Orleans extended its lead to 24-0 over New England.

The Saints scored their first touchdown off a Tyrann Mathieu 27-yard pick-six of a Mac Jones pass with 7:11 in the first quarter. New Orleans would lead 7-0.
