Jalen Hurts is a great running quarterback. Heading into the "Monday Night Football" contest between his Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs, Hurts had already rushed for seven touchdowns on the season.
That's more than many running backs, and that -- plus his ability to throw the football -- is one of the reasons Hurts has found himself as a perennial MVP contender just four years into his NFL career.
He added another touchdown run to his tally on "MNF", and this one was rather impressive because the scamper was completely devoid of any defensive pressure from the defending Super Bowl champion Chiefs.
Jalen Hurts take it himself, and the @Eagles make it a 3-point game

That's about as good as you can draw it up for head Nick Sirianni and his Eagles' offense. It was also about as simple as they come run play-wise.
Led by a pulling Jason Kelce and cleaned up by tackle Jordan Mailata, this was a quarterback-power run that would make Vince Lombardi himself salivate. The Eagles blocked down on the play-side and Kelce and Mailata simply led the way.
Hurts was basically untouched all the way to the end zone, and if any member of the Chiefs defense did get a hold of him, it was a flailing arm tackle that did no good.
That's fundamental football, and it was a beautiful thing to watch.
