Inter Milan wantaway midfielder Stefano Sensi is reportedly just one step away from making the move to Leicester City.

In the past few days, the Foxes have emerged as the ultimate favorites to seal a deal for the 28-year-old.

The Nerazzurri will hardly resist the departure given the player’s low status in Simone Inzaghi’s pecking order. Six midfielders are ahead of him on the totem pole.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport via FcInterNews, the only aspect that remains missing is a final agreement between the two clubs.

However, this shouldn’t prove to be a hurdle, as Inter would agree to relinquish the player’s services for as little as 2 million euros, according to circulating reports. After all, Sensi’s contract will expire at the end of the season.

The pink newspaper also reveals the significant role that Leicester manager Enzo Maresca played in convincing his compatriot to make the jump to English shores.
